- Master's degree (preferred)
- Deep understanding of effective instructional practices and TEKS-aligned instruction
- Knowledge of district curriculum resources, assessment systems, classroom management, and instructional frameworks
- Ability to coach adults using models such as coaching cycles, observation/feedback, and co-planning
- Effective communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills for working with adult learners
- Ability to analyze data and support data-driven instructional planning
- Deep understanding of formative assessment practices and PLC structures
- Ability to build supportive, non-evaluative coaching relationships with teachers

- Provide instructional coaching through observation, feedback, coaching cycles, co-teaching, and modeling lessons aligned to teacher goals and student needs.
- Support the continuous professional growth and improvement of teacher instructional skills through coaching and collaborative problem solving.
- Support teachers in planning and delivering high-quality Tier 1 instruction aligned to TEKS, district expectations, and best practices.
- Support implementation of district curriculum and assessment systems.
- Support the integration and implementation of Technology Applications TEKS and effective instructional technology tools to enhance instruction and student learning.
- Facilitate data meetings, assist teachers with data analysis, and help develop targeted plans for student growth.
