Contributing in this role is :
- Assist the other employees in their daily tasks;
- Manipulate material with overhead cranes, jib cranes or forklifts;
- Keep the working area clean;
- Clean steel pieces using production equipment;
- Safely load, solidify, balance and tie the loads in the truck;
- Apply masking on steel parts;
- All related tasks.
What we are looking for
- Ability to operate an angle grinder or other hand tools;
- Know how to operate an overhead crane and/or know how to perform rigging operations (an asset);
- One (1) year's plant experience in the steel industry (an asset);
- Demonstrate cooperation, adaptation, autonomy, manual dexterity and initiative;
- Organizational skills;
- Knowledge of best practices for loading materials in compliance with occupational health and safety principles.

40-hour compressed work week
Day shift – Monday to Friday, as follows:
- Regular schedule of 5 days per week (Monday to Friday) or 4 days of 10 hours (Monday to Thursday).
- Several schedules are possible, offering flexibility in start times (between 5:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.) and end times.
Evening shift : Monday to Thursday, from 3:15p.m to 1:45a.m.
