Facility: Acacia Care Rehabilitation and Nursing Center
Position: RN Supervisor (3–11 Shift)
Location: West Orange, NJ
Schedule: Full-Time | 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Salary: Up to $110,000 annually (based on experience)

Acacia Care Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking an experienced and compassionate RN Supervisor to lead nursing operations during the evening shift. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated nursing leader who is passionate about quality resident care and thrives in a collaborative, supportive environment.

As the RN Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring clinical excellence, staff support, and regulatory compliance while fostering a positive and professional workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Director and Associate Director of Nursing with planning, organizing, and directing daily nursing operations in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements

  • Supervise and support nursing staff to ensure high-quality, resident-centered care

  • Maintain appropriate staffing levels for the assigned shift

  • Conduct daily rounds to monitor care delivery and staff performance; communicate findings to leadership

  • Participate in facility surveys, audits, and inspections as required

  • Review, implement, and contribute to resident care plans and discharge planning

  • Ensure accurate and timely medication administration and treatments

  • Provide direct nursing care and resident assessments as needed

  • Support new admissions by welcoming residents and ensuring a smooth transition

  • Accompany physicians during rounds when necessary

  • Address staff concerns professionally and escalate grievances appropriately

  • Assist with performance evaluations of LPNs and CNAs

  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support resident care and facility operations

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program

  • Current, active RN license in the state of New Jersey

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on nursing experience in long-term care, restorative, or geriatric settings

  • At least 1 year of supervisory or nursing management experience

  • Current CPR certification
