The Role

As the Head of Strategy, Planning, and Product Enablement within Enterprise Cloud Infrastructure and Operations (ECIO), you will lead key functions that scale across the organization and enable strategy development and implementation, including Portfolio and Business Management, Communications and Engagement, Large Scale Program Management, IT Resiliency and Controls Oversight, Product Management and Executive Administration. You will work across the ECIO senior leadership team to drive strategic planning, executive communications, management routines, as well as own specific strategic programs. 

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 10 years of related work experience

  • Technical knowledge on Cloud, Data Center, Networking and Operations functions to establish and drive strategic transformations

  • Strong understanding of technology vendors across ECIO functions including: Microsoft, AWS, Dell, HP, Apple, IBM, Oracle

  • Data driven leadership to drive analysis of Operations, Program Executions as well as Business Case initiation

  • Outstanding leadership, critical thinking, problem solving, program management, and communication capabilities

  • Proven end-to-end business thinking, planning and decision making

  • Senior level experience defining strategic roadmaps and leading the development of solutions aligned with the strategic direction of the business

  • Committed leader who serves, can set direction, and encourages others to deliver results

  • Superb communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills that enable you to influence, engage, and orchestrate work at all levels across Fidelity

  • The ability to lead multiple high priority efforts and adapt to changes in priorities or scope

  • Adept at taking data-focused approach to decision making, in day-to-day leadership and strategic tradeoff analyses

  • Agile leadership experience with a continuous improvement mentality

  • Experience leading, mentoring, and developing teams

  • Effective organization-wide strategy development, planning, initiative prioritization, business case development, performance measurement, portfolio transparency, and workforce management

  • Delivery of highly complex programs with enterprise-wide impact

  • Be the strategic and accountable owner for key initiatives spanning ECIO, ET and Fidelity scope

  • Strategic, adaptable approach to product management through deep understanding of customer needs across multiple product lines, products, and vendors

  • Proactive, effective and executive-level communications so that all associates and partners are engaged in ECIO’s vision, strategy, and priorities

  • Adaptable, influential business management and administrative support that drive alignment and increased productivity and effectiveness of the ECIO Senior team

  • Mitigation of risk through clear accountability and management of ECIO controls, policies, procedures, as well as oversight of large-scale disaster recovery scenario planning and event response.

You will work closely with a multifaceted team responsible for a diverse set of functions. As a leader of this team, you will encourage diversity of thought and innovative approaches to achieve organizational objectives. The team comprises of subject matter expertise that think and work across our organization.

The base salary range for this position is $130,000-$264,000 per year.  

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
