International Freight Coordinator

Primary Purpose:

The International Freight Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and

executing international shipments via air and ocean freight. This role works closely

with freight forwarders, customs brokers, global sales team, shipping, purchasing,

and receiving teams to ensure compliant, cost-effective, and timely export of

goods. The coordinator supports international projects by managing

documentation, cost analysis, load planning, and adherence to global trade

regulations.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

� Provide cost analysis for outbound international air and ocean freight as

requested by the Global Sales Team.

� Work closely with Musco�s freight forwarders and customs brokers on

outbound international shipments, providing all required documentation and

shipment details needed to ship our products to international locations

successfully.

� Work closely with our Global Sales Team to understand the project delivery

details so that the Customer/Contractor needs are met on each international

project.

� Review project requirements to determine proper equipment types and

quantities needed to safely and efficiently transport goods internationally.

� Manage and finalize international packing lists based on product

specifications and packaging requirements.

� Prepare, review, and maintain all required export documentation, including

Shipper�s Letter of Instruction (SLI), commercial invoices, packing lists, and

other applicable documents.

� Understand and comply with U.S. export regulations, import/customs

standards, and international trade requirements.

� File and maintain cargo insurance documentation for all international

shipments originating from Musco�s U.S. locations.

� Provide load planning guidance to the Shipping Team and collaborate on optimal product assignment for outbound international loads. � � Collaborate with the International Freight Team, Purchasing and Receiving Teams, to support inventory requests from Musco�s international manufacturing locations. �
