Job Description

Position Summary:

The Process Engineering Lead oversees the Process Engineering team to improve quality, safety, and efficiency by optimizing processes, enhancing product quality, and troubleshooting issues. They use statistical analysis and design experiments to drive sustainable gains and collaborate with departments to resolve process and equipment challenges. The role also involves selecting, implementing, and optimizing equipment, while developing and mentoring the technical team.

 

 

Essential Functions:

·         Coordinate, assign and manage team projects and activities

·         Prioritize Team’s workload to meet Site and production requirements

·         Ensure all tasks for department are completed in a timely manner.

·         Ensure PE coverage for all programs and shifts

·         Ensure all PE procedures are documented and followed.

·         Responsible for developing and training staff members in the applicable department procedures

·         Manage multiple departmental projects simultaneously.

·         Continuously improve and upgrade equipment and processes.

·         Develop and update SOPs to support process and procedure changes to equipment and standard procedures.

·         Leads communication between multiple departments and management levels

·         Oversee the plan for work force utilization, space requirements, workflow and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.

·         Oversee the development of product specifications for the purchase of equipment, materials, tooling, fixturing or parts, according to specifications and quality standards.

·         Analyze production times, staffing requirements and related costs of production equipment to provide information for management decisions.

·         Organize teams to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential to ensure that the quality of the product produced meets all customer requirements.

·         Supports and ensures compliance with established Company’s Corporate Principles.

·         Other duties as assigned.

 

Education And Experience

·         Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field

·         Minimum 3 years of Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment

·         Minimum 2 years of experience in electronics industry preferred

·         This is a FULLY ONSITE position; must be able to report onsite daily.

·         Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment with multiple languages spoken.

·         Excellent organizational skills.

·         Extremely detail oriented.

·         Strong written and spoken English skills

·         Ability to operate independently in multiple locations.

·         Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.

 

Physical Requirements:

·         Ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.

·         Ability to distinguish between colors.

·         Ability to bend, stoop, stand/sit for prolonged periods, move about production and warehouse facilities.
