Leer is looking for a motivated individual to join our Team!  We are currently searching for a Painter and offer competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Prep units, which includes washing units, drying seams, checking for/repairing dents, taping breakers, checking and following paperwork

• Paint units

• Change out paints

• Clean paint and wash equipment

• Repair damaged units

• Use proper technique using putty and fillers

• Perform paint PMs as assigned

• Conduct paint Inventory

• Must be willing to work schedule as assigned by supervisor or lead

• Work on front assembly line as required

• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must understand and be able to follow ALL safe operating procedures & requirements

• Must possess a cooperative attitude

• Must be self-motivated and work with minimal supervision

• Must be able to understand and execute instructions

• Must be able to operate the washer and painting equipment

• Must have high attention to detail

• Must be able to wear all safety equipment, including a breathable air hood and half masks

• Experience painting is a plus!

Essential Functions:

• Must be willing and able to work in warm environment during summer months

• Ability to lift/push pull 50-100 lbs., plus on a continual basis.

• Ability to reach overhead and/or above shoulder height frequently.

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

• Ability to use repetitive motions.

• Self starter with the ability to work as a team as well

• Ability to be on time and at work on a daily basis.

• Must have a flexible work schedule.
