POSITION SUMMARY
Provide individual, group and family psychotherapy; provides clinical supervision; conducts clinical evaluations and other clinical and case management functions as assigned. Writes appropriate clinical documents and effectively presents clinical information verbally. Appropriately support and implement Center’s Treatment Philosophy of Dignity, Respect and Understanding of our patients. Expected to learn the basic knowledge and skills for Collaborative Problem Solving.

EDUCATION/TRAINING EXPERIENCE
- Master's degree or Doctorate or the equivalent
- Four to ten years related experience and/or training
- Three years post master's clinical experience
- Three years experience/training in child/adolescent psychiatric setting
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
Clinical license (i.e. LPC, LPCi, LMSW, LCSW, Psychologist, etc)
- SAMA
- CPR preferred
THE ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE POSITION
- Provide competent clinical services to individuals, families, as assigned, in the areas of individual psychotherapy, family psychotherapy and parent training; group psychotherapy, psycho-educational instruction; psychosocial assessment; and discharge planning
- Demonstrate competency in Collaborative Problem Solving core areas within established time frames (inpatient only):
- Concepts and attitudes, Triggers and Pathways and Plans A, B & C
- Provides expected level of direct care services (60% of 40 hrs each week)
- Displays appointments for current cases and availability for new patients in EMR
- Uses CASII dimensions of care in documenting assessment, progress notes and treatment planning
- Communicate effectively with, and is responsive to, patients, families, other departments, and internal/external provider resources
- Provide clinical documentation of service that meets Center standards for timeliness and quality (Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluation)
- Practice within the ethical standards of the Center and state licensing board
- Schedules and completes weekly status of clinical/administrative supervision sessions
- Demonstrates clinical skill in formulating Treatment Planning
- Follows guidelines regarding protection of PHI at work space and in communication
