Job Description

  • Serve as a relief operator for a wide variety of functions, machinery, and workstations
  • Assist with mill clean-up until promoted into a more advanced and/or specialized role
  • Learn the safe and efficient operation of each machine assigned
  • Comprehend and perform all duties in accordance with rules, regulations and JSA’s (job safety analysis)

To be considered you will need the ability to:

  • Work various shifts, days, and overtime
    • $2/hr shift differential for qualified night and weekend shifts
    • Overtime pays at time and a half!
  • Use motorized equipment, hand tools (broom, shovel, etc), and an air hose
  • Adapt to various weather conditions, loud conditions, and airborne particles (sawdust) as we are working in a loud, industrial, sawmill!
  • Pass a hair follicle drug test, a physical, and a background check

  • A high school diploma or GED

The Physical Demands of this job include:

Sitting and/or standing for a full shift, reaching with hands and arms, stooping, squatting, bending at the waist, kneeling, walking varying distance, climbing stairs, and listening to equipment.
