Job Description

Position Description: Half-Day Secondary Art Teacher


 


Position Type: Half-Day


 


Reports To: Campus Principal


 


Position Summary:


 


The secondary half-day Art teacher is responsible in leading a dynamic and engaging Art program. The ideal candidate will foster a positive environment where students will develop knowledge of core academic subjects assigned.


 


Primary Responsibilities: 



  • Knowledge of core academic subject assigned

  • Knowledge of curriculum and instructional best practices

  • Ability to instruct students using a variety of technology applications and mixed platforms

  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to develop relationships and maintain consistent contact with student, parents, and colleagues


Qualifications:


 


Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and a valid Texas teaching certificate accordance with Texas Education Code Chapter 21.


 


New teachers and experienced educators are encouraged to apply.

Successful candidates are reflective practitioners who value teamwork, consistency, and positive relationships with students and colleagues. Experience with structured lesson design and differentiated instruction is highly desirable.

Salary and benefits are provided in accordance with the district compensation plan, board policy, and applicable Texas Education Code requirements.
