Responsibilities:
- Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing.
- Conduct periodontal assessments and charting.
- Take dental X-rays.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care.
- Assist the dentist with exams and treatment planning.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records.
- Follow strict infection control and sterilization protocols.
- Ensure a clean, organized, and well-prepared operatory.
Qualifications:
- Current dental hygienist license (as required by state).
- X-ray certification.
- Strong knowledge of periodontal care and dental procedures.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
- Positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
