Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager. This role is accountable for the development, implementation, and management of the quality systems and procedures used in the production of our products. This position ensures that the quality standards as defined by the designers are being met on the shop floor as well as with materials and services supplied by outside vendors.

The ideal candidate will have a focused or specialized experience, having built or rebuilt a QMS, not just maintained one or worked inside one. Essential Functions:

  1. Provide direction and leadership to the quality department.
  2. Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems, policies, and procedures.
  3. Analyze quality data and trends to identify systemic issues and opportunities for improvement.
  4. Follow up on all CRMs involving product issues and provide resolution recommendations to cross-functional teams.
  5. Make decisions on product acceptance, including final disposition of products based on established criteria and standards.
  6. Monitor and report on key quality metrics, presenting findings and recommendations to senior management.
  7. Create and maintain cost of quality reporting, metrics, and action plans.
  8. Ensure compliance with internal standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
  9. Develop and maintain periodic inspection audits to ensure spot checking of production quality
  10. Develop and maintain 3rd party inspection process
  11. Develop and maintain the returns, reject re-distribution, and scrap procedures
  12. Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
