Community Based/Family Therapist 
 

As part of the recent merger of Best Point and Butler Behavioral Health, we are excited to announce a new opportunity for an IHBT Therapist

 

Butler Behavioral Health has been providing high quality behavioral health services to our community since 1948. Together Butler Behavioral Health and Best Point will continue to value the unique characteristics, individual strengths and a holistic understanding of every client and their resources, to develop personalized treatment plans with focused objectives that result in “small steps” towards changing their lives.  


Intensive home based therapy treatment provides services to children to help them be successful in their home, school and community settings.  IHBT provide systems advocacy and education to enhance family functioning and stability.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnostic evaluations completed with accurate usage of ICD 10 classifications.
  • Assessments reflect skillful appraisal of client strengths, resources, areas of competence, individual/family/interpersonal dynamics, environmental/cultural and situational variables
  • Individual service plans completed on time and consistent with agency quality standards
  • Goal and objectives are relevant to expressed concerns of clients with services tailored to the unique needs of each client
  • Goals and progress towards objectives are evaluated with clients and their significant others
  • Commitment to agency core values is reflected in clinical practices
  • Well-coordinated referrals to other programs and resources, as well as coordination with team members
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, or comparable human services field
  • Ohio LSW, LISW, LPC, or LPCC  license required
  • Minimum of two years of experience working in the behavioral health field
  • Excellent organizational, planning and follow-up skills
  • Strong oral, written and presentation communication skills
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
