The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a dedicated Transportation Driver

What You Will Do

  • Safely transport residents to and from scheduled medical appointments, therapies, social outings, and other destinations as assigned

  • Assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle, using appropriate equipment (e.g., wheelchair lifts, gait belts) as needed

  • Ensure all residents are properly secured in accordance with safety guidelines before transit begins

  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness of the vehicle at all times

  • Perform daily vehicle safety checks and report any maintenance issues promptly

  • Coordinate with nursing, therapy, and social services to confirm transport schedules and special needs

  • Maintain accurate transportation logs and documentation for each trip

  • Exhibit patience, professionalism, and care when interacting with residents, family members, and staff

  • Uphold all company policies and state/federal transportation regulations

  • Duties as assigned

What You Must Have

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (CDL with passenger endorsement preferred but not required)

  • Prior experience driving a passenger van, wheelchair-accessible vehicle, or bus (preferred)

  • Basic knowledge of senior care needs, including safe transport of wheelchair users

  • Ability to lift, bend, and assist residents with mobility needs

  • High level of patience, reliability, and professionalism

  • CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
