As an Accounting Manager, you will play a key role within the Korea Finance team responsible for accuracy and integrity of the accounting and reporting activities for Molnlycke Health Care Korea including monthly close, statutory compliance, tax, audit and Group reporting. The role ensures full compliance with Group policies, local legislation, Internal Controls, and Mölnlycke Health Care standards, while maintaining alignment with local GAAP and IFRS.

What you’ll do



  • Accounting, Close & Reporting

    • Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual closes in line with GAAP/IFRS and Group policies.

    • Ensure timely and accurate Group reporting (Cognos Controller).

    • Identify and drive improvements in accounting processes and reporting quality.




 



  • Statutory, Tax & Compliance

    • Prepare statutory financial statements, corporate income tax, VAT and other required filings.

    • Prepare tax packs and ensure correct local adjustments.

    • Ensure full compliance with corporate policies and local legislation.




 



  • Audit & Controls

    • Act as primary contact for auditors and authorities.

    • Coordinate audit deliverables and complete responses on time.

    • Implement and maintain internal controls and required documentation.




 



  • Business Partnering & Performance Insights

    • Support the Country Head of Finance by:

      • Assisting with the preparation and distribution of the monthly management reports, including actual vs. forecast performance and variance analysis, for local   management.

      • Recommending insights on monthly financial results and corrective actions for any deviations across the Business Areas.

      • Through direct, handson involvement in the Quarterly Forecasting process.

      • Additional support to the Japan entity when required.






 



  • Collaboration with GBS / Group Finance

    • Serve as the key liaison with GBS for accounting operations including PTP & OTC tasks and drive process improvements with GBS teams.     

    • Collaborate with Group Finance on accounting related matters, policies, projects, and best practices.

What you’ll need



  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.

  • 6+ years of relevant accounting experience.

  • Strong knowledge of statutory reporting, tax compliance, group consolidation, local GAAP IFRS and tax compliance.

  • Experience with advanced accounting issues and closing processes.

  • Experience with complex accounting issues and provides wellreasoned, practical solutions that support decisionmaking

  • Advanced proficiency with ERP (e.g., SAP), Group reporting tools (e.g., Cognos Controller), and Microsoft Office application particularly Excel; Power BI exposure a plus.

  • Experience working in an international environment and collaborating across geographies/GBS.

  • Fluent Korean & English; Japanese an advantage.
