    Position Title: Bus Operator, Route 24

    Immediate Supervisor: Supervisor of Transportation

    Qualifications:
               State Certified Bus Operator

    • Hold Commercial Drivers License with P & S Endorsements
    • Complete or have completed the 40 Hours of Classroom Training & Driving Requirements
    • Hold First Aid Card
    • Pass State Mandated Written Test and State Mandated Driving Test
    • Department of Motor Vehicles Check Completed and Approved
    • Ability to pass physical as required for WV School Bus Operators
    • Ability to lift 50lbs
    • Other as Outlined in the Handbook for School Bus Drivers

    Additional requirements:  

    Transport students with special needs
    Assist in securing students safely on the bus

    Employment Term: 200 day contract beginning 1st day of the 2026/2027 school year (position will start and stop at the Belington Middle School)

    Salary: Salary based on experience and education level per CBOE salary schedule plus competitive benefits package equal to approximately 35% of direct compensation.  Salary Schedules
