Murray Equipment is looking for a mechanically inclined, customer-service-focused Service & Assembly Technician to support inspection, troubleshooting, repair, assembly, and testing of liquid handling and metering equipment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in quality, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Automotive technicians, diesel mechanics, maintenance technicians, service advisors, and mechanically inclined problem-solvers are strongly encouraged to apply.
What You’ll Work On
You’ll be servicing and supporting equipment such as:
- Pumps, motors, and fluid handling systems
- Flow meters and electronic registers
- Valves, fittings, and assemblies
- Industrial and agricultural liquid handling equipment
What You’ll Do
- Troubleshoots returned equipment and determine repair or warranty status
- Inspects products, identify issues, and document findings
- Prepares repair estimates and communicate with customers
- Pulls parts and complete repairs using hand and power tools
- Performs assembly, testing, calibration, and final verification
- Uses precision tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
- Records labor, parts, and service details in internal systems
- Provides customer support, troubleshooting, and product guidance
- Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Assists with shipping, receiving, and light fabrication/assembly as needed

- Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
- Prior mechanical, industrial, automotive, or equipment repair experience required
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and be on your feet most of the day
