Competences Requirements


Knowledge/Qualifications:  Mimimum of 2 years experience in a production or logistics environment.  Basic inventory management principles.  Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.  Ability to work in a highly dynamic environment.


Previous Experience: Knowledge of transport and warehousing.  Lean application processes and flows. 


Technical Competencies:  Computer skills. Open to new concepts and innovation.

Missions





  • Promote safety culture in its area of responsibilities 








  • Manage and control raw material, components and finished stock in and out the in and out of the plant. 








  • Manage incoming, warehousing and internal line feeding activities 








  • Supervise the FLT (forklift trucks) team and co-ordinate transport in support of the weekly dispatch plan

Daily Activities





  • Ensure that safety policies are understood and respected within his area of responsibilities 








  • Maintain tidy, safe and clean: yard, dispatch, receiving and warehouse areas 








  • Manage team to guarantee the best skills and motivation (headcount, performance, communication, development). 








  • Ensure resources are scheduled to meet customer delivery plans 








  • Manage the fleet of fork-lift trucks and other handling equipment 








  • Ensure all inbound material is audited and raise relevant discrepancies when errors are detected 








  • Control and manage the accuracy of all component & finished stock in & out of plant 








  • Analyze and root cause COGI and SAP inventory errors and make systematic corrections.  








  • Manage POI Inventory as a strategic liaison to Anderson. Monitor part transitions and replenishment.  








  • Measure both suppliers and customers compliance to delivery slot times 








  • Manage engineering changes as support to engineering and communication to the team 








  • Support quality sort activities that need fork truck assistance 








  • Propose new ways of working to the Supply Chain Manager that improve efficiency 








  • Work with the rest of the logistics team on continuous improvements 








  • Assist in reconciling information system transactions with physical material moves 








  • Organize the team in the best manner to support the activity 








  • Create ownership within the team 








  • During the project phase receive all material for the project and store them into dedicated warehouse areas, communicate to the project team availability of material and prepare projects shipments
