Job Description





The Systems Administrator is Primarily responsible for administration of the servers, domain and cloud resources that APC's business operated on. Supports related systems and software that support printing, licensing, databases etc.  This role serves as backup admin for firewalls, switches and other network equipment.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Administration of company's O365 environment including migration, security Intune and optimization.
  • Maintain the on-premise VMware and Windows environment by analyzing requirements and vulnerabilities, patching and upgrading.
  • Assists and backs up the Cyber Security Manager with administration of network equipment such as firewalls, switches etc.
  • Perform weekly and monthly checks on system health, security and vulnerabilities.
  • Provide level 2/3 tech support and escalations from the Help Desk for troubleshooting technical issues including, but not limited to, troubleshooting network issues, printers, scanners, shop floor terminals, software, etc.
  • Manage small to moderate IT projects for migrations, rollouts, Intune improvements
  • Provide updates, status, and completion information to management to support a team environment.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience with O365 Admin/Entra
  • 2 years of Intune or similar deployment and management tool experience
  • 2 years of experience with VMware and Windows server environment
  • 2 years of experience in Information Technology support
  • Moderate networking experience including firewalls, switches, DNS/DHCP
  • Ability to resolve moderate to advanced technical problems
  • Basic Scripting knowledge

Preferred:

  • Linux administration
  • Windows group policy management
  • Helpdesk/Ticketing Experience
