Job Description

IBI Healthcare Institute is looking for a Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team in our Loganville, GA location.

 

You will diagnose and treat health conditions, promote good health practices. You will be the go-to person for ensuring the best patient care possible.

 

Responsibilities:

 

- A commitment to excellent patient care, willing to build relationships with patients & team members, and detail oriented is a must.

-Experience in Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy, especially pellet therapy is a plus, however willing to train the right candidate.

-Conduct 1:1 consultations with patients to determine best treatments for their desired outcome and create a plan of care.

-Perform physical examinations and screenings of patients. Effectively inform and educate patients about specific wellness concerns. Diagnose health problems and detect changes in patient condition.

-Regularly make follow up phone calls and timely respond to patient post-visit inquiries.

-Perform routine procedures, exams and order and evaluate appropriate lab tests.

- Administer medications.

-Operate medical equipment.

-Ensure patient records are kept up to date including test results, immunizations, condition changes, etc.

-Deliver quality, physician-level care while complying with company policies, safety regulations, and productivity metrics

-Maintain complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products offered.

-Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and JSMD policies and procedures.

-Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or patients that require attention.

-Handle patients' questions and concerns professionally, timely and courteously.

-Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.

-Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings.

Please list any experience you have in surgical/non-surgical procedures, aesthetics, IV therapy, etc. acute care or family health.

As a Nurse Practitioner, you’ll have to work closely with other healthcare professionals, so you should have a team spirit and a positive attitude. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Master's degree in nursing or a related field
  • Active RN license and NP certification in the state of practice
  • Continuing education and professional development to maintain certification and stay current on best practices and treatments
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
  • Knowledge of clinical guidelines and evidence-based practice standards
  • Understanding of healthcare policies, regulations, and ethical principles
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
  • Understanding of healthcare technology and electronic medical records
