The High School Wrestling Coach is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the wrestling program, including planning and conducting practices, teaching wrestling skills and strategies, and supervising student-athletes during practices and competitions. The coach will promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and discipline while ensuring a safe and positive environment for all participants.
The coach must follow all school, district, conference, and state athletic association rules, communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and school staff, and support the academic success of student-athletes. Previous wrestling or coaching experience is preferred. Background check and required school clearances are required.
