Job Title: Houseman
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Houseman to join our hotel team. The Houseman will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the hotel’s public areas, assisting with room preparation, and ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests. This role is essential in providing exceptional service and support to our housekeeping and front desk teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and order in all public areas, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Assist housekeeping staff with room preparation and cleaning tasks as needed.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and restock supplies in public areas and housekeeping carts.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of events and meetings as required.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a housekeeping or hospitality role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks and lift heavy objects.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
