Job Description
  • Partners with shop floor and production teams to train, troubleshoot, and gather feedback for ongoing process improvement.
  • Leads or supports Lean/continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiency, quality, and cost savings.
  • Works on process improvement projects as assigned by manager. Projects will be prioritized based on benefits derived from implementation.
  • Reports on the status of assigned projects, in both meeting and written form, as required by supervisor.
  • Attends classes, seminars, trade shows pertaining to the job as designated by the Facilities Maintenance Manager or by upper management.
  • Communicates and consults with engineering, technical and manufacturing personnel.
  • Confers with engineering, technical or manufacturing personnel internally as well as outside of the company.
  • Provides assistance as necessary to Maintenance personnel involved in maintaining production/facility equipment.
  • Maintains records, reports, or files.
  • Uses oral or written communication techniques.
  • Supports the department's mission.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned by manager.
