Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical & Energy Systems Engineer to lead the design, optimization, and integration of advanced energy solutions across utility-scale and distributed energy systems. This role requires deep expertise in electrical engineering, energy management, renewable energy technologies, and utility operations. The ideal candidate will drive technical strategy, support grid modernization initiatives, and deliver reliable, efficient, and sustainable energy solutions.

  • Lead the design, analysis, and implementation of electrical systems for renewable energy projects (solar, wind, storage, microgrids).
  • Develop and optimize energy management systems (EMS) to improve efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Interface with utility stakeholders to ensure compliance with grid interconnection requirements, standards, and regulations.
  • Conduct power system studies, including load flow, short-circuit, protection coordination, and stability analysis.
  • Support grid integration of distributed energy resources (DERs), including battery storage and demand response systems.
  • Provide technical leadership across cross-functional teams, mentoring junior engineers and guiding project execution.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions aligned with decarbonization and grid modernization goals.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (IEEE, NEC, NERC, FERC, etc.).
  • Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex electrical and energy system issues.
  • Contribute to business development efforts, including proposal development and client engagement.
