Make an impact with our Assurance and Accounting team as a bookkeeper. As a trusted advisor, you will prepare detailed and customized financial information, allowing firm clients to make decisions with confidence.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and update government remittances and filings, accounts receivable, expenses, accounts payable and payroll transactions.
- Prepare client files.
- Perform the month-end and quarter-end close process.
- Maintain, monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts including cash, bank reconciliations, prepaid expenses, accounts receivable, accounts payable, accrued liabilities, intercompany transactions and point of sale/system uploads.
- Identify issues and errors, investigate discrepancies and discuss with managers or engagement partners to develop solutions.
- Respond to information requests from various levels of government.
- Work collaboratively with the engagement team.
- Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary.
Skills and experience
- Accounting certificate
- Advanced knowledge of French
- Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) designation is considered an asset
- Up to 5 years of relevant accounting experience
- Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and processes
- Experience using accounting software
- Experience preparing T4 and T5 slips is considered an asset

The annual salary range for this position is: $40,000-$60,000.
