Construction Project Manager – Lead Residential and Commercial Plumbing Installations

Job Overview

  • Company: Baron Contracting

  • Salary/Pay Rate: $130,000 to $165,000 per year (based on experience) plus Performance and Year-End Bonuses.

  • Location: Hybrid (Bay Area, CA).

  • Job/Employment Type: Full-Time.

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, Weekends.

  • Project Scope: General Plumbing (Residential, Commercial Industrial, Government or Federal).

  • Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: None Required.

The Opportunity

You will serve as a pivotal leader in a rapidly growing company, working directly with the CEO to shape the future of our plumbing division. This role offers the unique autonomy to manage the entire project lifecycle while driving significant organizational growth.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Administer all facets of project management including budget, procurement, and risk mitigation for complex real estate developments.

  • Formulate detailed cost estimates and work timetables to ensure project transparency and financial accuracy.

  • Coordinate with architects and engineers to translate technical designs into high-quality field implementations.

  • Direct the work of subcontractors and vendors to maintain strict adherence to quality standards and project timelines.

  • Develop comprehensive project schedules and provide consistent strategic updates to all stakeholders.

  • Navigate real-time technical obstacles to ensure projects remain on track and within the specified budget.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience specifically managing plumbing projects.

  • Proven expertise in project management methodologies and construction industry regulations.

  • Strong proficiency in written and verbal communication necessary for stakeholder management.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-pressure projects simultaneously with minimal oversight.

  • Absolute willingness to travel occasionally to various project assignments as required.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Extensive experience in either service plumbing and/or new plumbing installations.

  • Advanced proficiency with modern digital estimation and project management software tools.
