Your Role
In your daily job you will:
Lead supplier quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with company and customer requirements
Conduct supplier audits and process assessments based on SQ requirements and VDA 6.3 standards
Analyze supplier-related quality issues and drive root cause analysis and effective corrective actions
Coordinate containment actions, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) with suppliers
Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Support new product launches by ensuring supplier readiness and quality compliance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality) to resolve supplier quality issues
Manage supplier PPAP/APQP processes and ensure timely approvals
Ensure adherence to customer-specific requirements and regulatory standards
Your Background
Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
Minimum 5+ years of experience in supplier quality or manufacturing quality within automotive industry
Strong knowledge of VDA 6.3, IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC
Experience in supplier audits and process assessments
Strong problem-solving skills (8D, root cause analysis)
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
Fluent in English (written and verbal)
