YOUR TASKS

• Analyze purchasing market taking into account the needs and requirements of the relevant Product Centers and Hella Companies. Prepare and update supplier matrix, prepare qualified supplier evaluations and build up alternative suppliers to meet or overachieve purchasing targets in the dimensions of “Cost”, “Time” and “Quality” in alignment with the responsible party from Product Centers
  
• Prepare and implement a commodity strategy with defined strategy teams, align with function team to execute it in every commercial activity.
  
• Establish a standard and optimized supplier basis worldwide to realize synergies by bundling purchasing volume, concentrating on efficient suppliers and optimizing the global process chain.
  
• Lead the new parts sourcing process with function team to achieve the “sourcing excellence” as: follow the sourcing rule, on time sourcing, meet target, BP & sourcing saving contribution and in line with the global commodity strategy.
  
• Manage the saving of delegated material annual spending:
  PPV saving
  One time payment and business contribution
  Best practice green field cost gap closure
  Manage the material inflation
  VAVE
  
• Negotiate supplier frame contracts, define sourcing concept and realize sourcing activities incl. but not limited to sending RFQs, negotiating and nominating suppliers for tools and components within the material group (new projects, lifetime extensions, change management, etc.)
  
• Supplier management excellence: supplier daily communication, business development, individual supplier strategy definition, supplier escalation management and others.
  
• Generate measures and support the measure generation for commercial and technical optimization of components or purchase volume to reduce costs and improve quality and security of supply.
  
• Consolidate the annual material requirements within a material group and steer central negotiations with suppliers to achieve optimum purchasing prices through bundling
  
• Initiate talks, carry out negotiations and prepare contracts to reduce costs, as well as to optimize procedures between supplier and Hella and to enforce Hella interests considering schedules, quality, quantity and delivery conditions.
  
• Create standardized international purchasing processes, methods and tools within the global network and strengthen purchasing power towards suppliers world-wide
  
• Aligning tasks and decisions with supervisors if necessary.
  
• Functional lead of the employees in the competence responsibility,
  
• Guiding, instructing and supporting employees in function-related tasks
  

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor degree and above, working in electronics manufacturing industry;
  
• More than 3 up to 5 years’ experience in Purchasing field, especially in sourcing and outsourcing field is preferred;
• English fluent in oral and writing;
  
• Familiar with office software;
  
• Experience or has knowledge on automotive standards is preferred.
