Job Description

Indoor Sales Executive

Location: Singapore-City, Singapore

Become a part of our talented deugro team, as we look for a Indoor Sales Executive in
Singapore-City, Singapore.

Key responsibilities:

  • Attend to client and overseas offices/agents as well as handle sea/air/land import and export enquiries
  • Source and maintain rates from hauliers, shipping lines, overseas agents/offices and subcontractors
  • Coordinate and follow up of shipment arrangement (air freight/sea freight/trucking)
  • Working with Finance and
    Business Development team on payment issues/job-related invoices and
    follow up on payment with clients
  • Support the sales strategy, development of new business as well as coordination of Business Development shipments and existing business penetration
  • Generate reports on quotes’
    success and failure rates complete with clients’ and subcontractors’
    feedback
  • Establish client specific standing
    order or SOP for long term projects
 

Skills, knowledge and expertise:

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in the freight forwarding industry
  • Solid experience in dealing with customer as well as good communication skills
  • Very good proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
  • These qualities characterize you: detail- and customer-oriented, analytical, organized
  • Excellent communications skills in English (Cross-Functional and Cross-Cultural)
