Get in on the action at Russ Davis Wholesale, the Midwest's premier distributor of fresh fruits and vegetables! We're on the lookout for dependable, hardworking individuals to join our team for our 1st Shift Warehouse Receiver position in Hammond, WI!

 

Full Time Schedules Available:

Monday- Friday: 7am start (approx 8hr shifts)

Must be flexible with shift end time, shift ends when work is complete.

 

Wage: $19.00 + additional $3.00/hr weekend incentive!

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old

  • Must be flexible on shift end times as they will vary with the seasons.
  • Ability to work in a cool environment (35-50 degrees).
  • Must be able to lift 35-50lbs consistently throughout shift.
  • Pass the pre-employment background check and drug screen (THC does not disqualify you)

Summary

1.     Unload inbound trucks and transfers. 

2.     Verify quantities of product received according to POs. 

3.     Inspect inbound product for quality and damage. Report issues to Quality Control. 

4.     Sort and breakdown all incoming product.   

5.     Ensure all labeling of product and pallets are accurate for put-away in proper pick slot. 

6.     Build pallets for stock reserves. 

7.     Operate pallet jack and/or forklift in a safe and responsible manner and follow all company policies, standards and procedures for operating equipment. Report any safety issues immediately to supervisor.

8.     Place empty pallets in designated pallet storage area. 

9.     Park and recharge forklift in appropriate spot at the end of the shift.

10.Ensure warehouse areas are kept clean, dry and free from debris.

11.Perform all duties in accordance with Food Safety and OSHA policies and procedures. Immediately report any incidents or violations. 

12.Help order pickers pick product on understaffed or busy days. Assist inventory and quality control when necessary.  Likewise, help break down product and put away as needed.  

13.Perform other duties as assigned.
