Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Equipment Technician who enjoys hands-on technical work, problem-solving, and leadership, to play a key role in maintaining our stations and ensuring our emissions equipment operates at peak performance.

 

 

Summary:

To provide preventative maintenance and technical field service support to all testing locations, and maintain the equipment and facilities following set schedules and procedures.

 

Job Description:

  • Perform routine diagnostics, calibration, preventive maintenance and repair of all emission related equipment and other lane systems following set schedules and procedures.
  • Install, test and calibrate equipment.
  • May interface with subcontractor representatives during installation, repair and/or maintenance of equipment.
  • May assist in maintenance and/or repair of other company electrical and electronic systems such as alarm, Network systems, and computer peripheral systems.
  • Direct technicians in their day to day activities and may be called upon to manage in the absence of the Tech Support Manager.
  • Assist in the training and technical development of technical support staff.
  • Ensure all preventive maintenance tasks are performed per established procedures.
  • Complete necessary paperwork, report on assigned work and assist in the completion of records, reports, and other documents.
  • Receive service calls from the stations in their region and dispatch equipment technicians as necessary.
  • Manage special projects and perform other tasks as required by the Tech Support Manager.
