Job Description:

Epworth Geelong, located in Waurn Ponds, is seeking experienced Theatre Technicians to join our dynamic Perioperative Team. Opportunities for motivated and experienced Theatre Technicians are available in full-time, part-time, and casual positions.

You will make an impact by:

  • Assisting clinicians and team members with patient preparation
  • Preparing and maintaining operating suite equipment
  • Providing safe patient transport within the operating suite and interdepartmental transfers
  • Having an inclusive mindset to thrive in a multi-cultural environment

You will have:

  • Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (Specialising in Operating Theatre Technician)
  • Be flexible, with good communication skills and a willingness to learn
  • An understanding of medical terminology and be able to fulfil the technical requirements of the role
  • Have best practice in delivering patient centred care
  • Have well-developed understanding of relevant safe work practices

The annual salary range for Theatre Technicians – AUD $59,718 - $73,037 + super + entitlements dependent on year level (prorated for part-time).
