About the Role
As an Assistant Manager, you'll work closely with the General Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, develop your team, and drive performance. This is a hands-on leadership role with real responsibility and a clear path to General Manager.

What You'll Do
-Supervise and coach crew members and shift leads
-Assist with onboarding, and training of new team members
-Manage daily operations including food prep, inventory, and ordering
-Ensure compliance with Subway brand standards, food safety, and sanitation requirements
-Handle scheduling support, and cash management
-Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally
-Step in as acting manager in the General Manager's absence
-Help drive sales, control food costs, and achieve store targets
-Communicate performance feedback and hold team members accountable
-Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for customers and staff

What We're Looking For
-1+ year of supervisory experience in food service or retail preferred
-Strong organizational and communication skills
-Ability to lead by example and hold team members accountable
-Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
-Proficiency with basic computer tasks including scheduling software, email, and reporting
-Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
-Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
-Must be 18 or older
