Job Description

Position Summary:

Provides clinical mental health services to children, families, and adults in an outpatient community mental health clinic, client homes, or community-based locations such as schools. Responsibilities will include intakes, diagnosis, case management, and mental health treatment services to identified clients.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday business hours; must work two nights per week until 7pm.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide intake assessments, diagnosis, and ongoing culturally sensitive treatment to children, families, and adults using Evidenced Based Practices
  • Complete required documentation within the identified timeframes
  • Develop clinical treatment plans which focus on client strengths, culture, needs, and goals within the briefest time frame for successful achievement
  • Maintain encounters/productivity of 60% of reportable/billable services
  • Participate in ongoing Continuous Quality Improvement to ensure the services provided demonstrate best practice standards and meet all contractual requirements
  • Actively participate in individual and group supervision, clinical staff meetings, and other multi-disciplinary meetings
  • Staff cases which require specialist consultations and psychiatric consultation as required
  • Coordinate client treatment with schools, physicians, and other community resources and referrals to community services whenever necessary
  • Observe confidentiality in all related program functions with staff and clients
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with other community mental health providers, primary care, and other referral sources
  • Provide routine services and on-call coverage outside of standard business hours if required by assigned program or team
  • Perform other duties as assigned
