Castle Dental supported by Smile Brands is seeking a motivated and patient-focused Registered Dental Assistant to join our growing team in Leander. If you’re passionate about patient care and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment, we’d love to meet you!
Schedule (days/hours)
7:45am - 5pm
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures
Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials
Take and develop dental X-rays (as permitted by state regulations)
Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures
Maintain sterilization and infection control standards
Update and maintain accurate patient records
Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
Qualifications
- Meet all state-specific dental assistant credentialing requirements for the duties assigned in the state of employment (e.g. RDA, CDA, EFDA, state registration, or equivalent as required by the state)
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
- Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and OSHA/HIPAA standards
- Strong communication and commitment to excellent patient care
Compensation
$22-24/hr
