Department:
Facilities
Location:

BRIEF DESCRIPTION:

The Custodian Supervisor reports directly to the Assistant Facilities Manager, or to the Facilities Manager in their absence. This is a working supervisory position responsible for overseeing daily custodial operations, assigning work, and ensuring all Eddy County facilities are thoroughly cleaned and maintained.

The Custodian Supervisor performs limited hands-on cleaning as needed, but the position is primarily focused on supervision and administrative duties, including inventory control, ordering supplies, monitoring work quality, training custodial staff, and enforcing cleaning and safety standards. The position works independently with minimal supervision, maintains regular communication with management, and reports maintenance needs. The Custodian Supervisor supports and coaches custodial staff; however, the position does not authority to administer formal discipline. Irregular hours and other duties as assigned may be required.
