As an Oven Operator at The Cheesecake Factory Bakery, you will play a crucial role in the production of our delicious cheesecakes and other baked goods. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining industrial ovens, ensuring the quality and consistency of our products. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will contribute to our reputation for delivering the finest desserts to our customers.

  • Oven Operation: Safely operate industrial ovens, including setting temperatures and timers, loading and unloading products, and monitoring baking processes.
  • Quality Control: Inspect baked goods for quality and consistency, ensuring they meet The Cheesecake Factory’s high standards. Conduct taste tests as necessary.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of ovens and baking equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
  • Inventory Management: Keep track of ingredients and supplies, reporting shortages and assisting in inventory management.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other bakery staff to coordinate production schedules and ensure timely completion of orders.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of food and maintaining a clean work environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; culinary or baking experience preferred.
  • Previous experience as an oven operator or in a baking/food manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and specifications accurately.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Must be able to lift heavy items and stand for long periods.

Preferences & Certificates/Licenses

  • Familiarity with various baking techniques and recipes, particularly for cheesecakes and other desserts.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills for oven and equipment issues.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Experience with inventory management software or systems.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
