Job Description
Tower Semiconductor is searching for a Photo Process Engineer to support sustaining, continuous improvement, new tool installation, and process transfer and development work in a 24/7 high-volume manufacturing fab. A qualified candidate will be self-motivated, have strong technical and analytical skills, and possess a practical, hands-on approach to engineering problems. The desired candidate will be able to partner with cross-functional teams to provide goal-oriented, efficient and effective solutions.

- You can troubleshoot and solve yield issues, and ramp new process technologies from R&D to volume manufacturing

- You’re adept at multi-tasking and able to prioritize tasks with goals and efficiency in mind
- You can interface with global counterparts to benchmark and improve photo processes and procedures
- You can support the Integration and Quality engineering teams to ensure your process modules and tools meet qualification and reliability requirements
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics or Engineering (Chemical Engineering preferred)
- Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in relevant field preferred
- Highly desirable coursework includes semiconductor processing technology, device physics, and statistics
- Demonstrated knowledge of photolithography principles, theories, concepts, tools, and techniques
- 5+ years of photo process engineering experience preferred
- Expertise in ASML or Canon KrF/ArF scanners preferred
- Demonstrate proficiency and understanding of overlay and CDSEM metrology
- Demonstrate solid understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC)
- Knowledge of PROMIS WIP management and JMP statistical analysis software preferred
- Experience with FMEAs, and 8D problem-solving processes preferred
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
- Candidate must be able to communicate with audiences at any technical level
- Must be a self-starter, dependable, and highly motivated
Compensation: $100,000 - $142,000
