The Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) is responsible for overseeing the psychiatric needs of children and adolescents
in the North Carolina Hope Center including the Facility Based Crisis and Behavioral Health Urgent Care. The position includes
conducting formal and informal assessments, clinical interviews, and developing treatment plans and medication regimens for
children and adolescents, with complex mental or emotional problems. Duties may include facilitating groups, conducting
educational workshops and in-service training for staff. The Nurse Practitioner will adhere to evidence-based practice guidelines,
professional standards, and state and federal requirements. The CRNP will provide in-building coverage M – F, with an opportunity to
take on-call for nights and weekends.
