Riggs Community Health Center is currently seeking a Human Resources Representative (Leave & Benefits Plan administration primary focus). Our HR department is a hard-working, results-driven, and adaptable team of HR professionals, sharing the responsibility of managing a diverse and high-performing clinic! In this role, your focus will be on maintaining daily functions of our leave and benefits plans. Additionally, HR Representative serves as the primary contact for our employee engagement events, charitable campaigns, HR training and compliance coordination, and a lead on personnel records management. You will work closely with our teams, managers, and leadership. Human Resources at Riggs Community Health Center supports the clinics efforts to bring critically needed integrated health services, wellness, and education to the under-served population in our community through collaborative training, recruiting, and internal customer service efforts.

Riggs team members enjoy predictable 40 hour work weeks you can plan family time around. This is DAY-TIME hours, NO CALL, and Limited Saturdays. Riggs Community Health Center…Improving Health. Improving Lives.
Monday - Friday 8:30am- 5:30pm
Education & Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree required.
- HR experience or certification preferred.
- Computer competency, typing, and document creation and design skills required.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows software required.
- Impeccable grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Excellent telephone and communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with high levels of confidentiality and sensitive information.
Knowledge of:
- Knowledge of human resources principles and practices including current trends in human resources.
- Previous experience working with HRIS software a plus.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Outlook.
- General knowledge of FMLA, ERISA, FLSA, NLRA, ADA/ADAAA, EEOC, OSHA, and HIPAA.
