Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a commercially minded Corporate Counsel to support our growing EMEA business. This role is ideal for a lawyer with 2–5 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) (or equivalent), who thrives in a fast-paced, international environment and is confident advising on complex commercial transactions.
Experience working on contracts across the Middle East is advantageous, but not required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of revenue-generating agreements, including SaaS, software licensing, and professional services contracts
  • Partner closely with Sales and Commercial teams to support deal execution while balancing legal risk and business objectives
  • Provide pragmatic, solutions-oriented legal advice on commercial and contractual matters
  • Translate business and operational requirements into clear, effective contractual terms
  • Support and improve internal legal processes, templates, playbooks, and empowerment materials
  • Advise on data protection and privacy matters, including compliance with GDPR and other applicable regulations
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and contribute to cross-functional initiatives
  • Stay informed on relevant legal, regulatory, and industry developments across EMEA
  • Support broader Legal team projects and strategic initiatives as needed
  • Remote working with occasional office attendance required

Qualifications & Experience

  • Qualified lawyer in a European jurisdiction with 2–5 years’ PQE
  • Experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts (technology/SaaS preferred)
  • Exposure to multi-jurisdictional work within EMEA; Middle East experience is a plus
  • Background in private practice and/or in-house legal teams

Language Skills

  • Fluency in English is essential
  • Additional European languages (e.g., French, Spanish, Italian) are advantageous but not required
