Our Professional Services practice is growing, and we are looking for dedicated and passionate Consultants to implement Profisee MDM solutions and empower our customers. Project work includes full lifecycle implementations as well as training and mentoring customers all over the world.
Profisee's professional services offerings are designed to quickly onboard new customers and help them develop an MDM Center of Excellence using two engagement styles:
- Full project lifecycle engagements where we design and implement analytical and operational MDM solutions for our customers.
- Accelerator engagements that deliver a comprehensive approach to MDM by combining practical workshops, design sessions, implementation assignments, and best-practice reviews — all delivered in just a few weeks so clients gain the self-sufficiency needed to build on a solid MDM foundation.
Your Performance Objectives – What You Will Accomplish
Within your first 30 days – Learn, Immerse, and Orient
- Primary Objective: Develop a strong foundational understanding of the Profisee platform, our customers, and how Professional Services delivers value.
- Learn the platform: Begin Profisee Academy coursework and immerse yourself in the product. Understand how our MDM solutions address real customer data challenges across industries.
- Meet the team: Build relationships with fellow Consultants, Managing Consultants, R&D, Support, and Product Management to understand how the teams collaborate and how PS fits into the broader organization.
- Understand the delivery model: Shadow an active engagement to observe how we run projects, communicate with customers, and deliver outcomes. Start to internalize our delivery standards and best practices.
- Orient to tools & process: Get up to speed on the project management tools, documentation standards, and collaboration platforms we use day to day.
Within your first 90 days – Get Certified and Contribute
- Primary Objective: Earn your Profisee certifications, shadow a live engagement, and complete your onboarding project so you are ready to contribute to real customer work.
- Complete all Profisee Academy certifications: Demonstrate proficiency across the platform's core capabilities. This is your foundation — everything else builds on it.
- Shadow a Consultant on a live engagement: Observe how an experienced Consultant manages a customer relationship, drives project milestones, and navigates challenges. Begin contributing to workstreams under guidance.
- Complete your onboarding project: Apply what you've learned in a structured internal project designed to simulate real delivery scenarios and build your confidence before going solo.
- Begin contributing feedback: Share early observations from the field back to R&D, Support, and Product Management. Fresh eyes are valuable — your perspective matters.
Within your first 6 months – Deliver and Make an Impact
- Primary Objective: Implement your first MDM solution end-to-end and establish yourself as a reliable, contributing member of the PS team.
- Lead your first implementation: Own a customer engagement with support from your Managing Consultant. Drive project milestones, manage customer communication, and deliver a working MDM solution.
- Contribute real-world feedback: Translate what you're seeing in the field into actionable input for R&D, Product Management, and Support. You are one of our most important feedback loops.
- Build customer trust: Show up as a credible, organized, and responsive partner for your customers. Leave every engagement with a customer who feels set up for success.
After one year – Grow, Specialize, and Teach
- Primary Objective: Become recognized as a platform expert in one or more areas and begin contributing to how we scale knowledge across the team.
- Complete multiple projects: Build a track record of successful deliveries across different customers, industries, and engagement types.
- Develop a specialty: Become the go-to resource in one or more areas of the product — whether that's a specific domain, integration pattern, or industry vertical.
- Contribute to the knowledge base: Write content for our Academy, internal playbooks, or delivery guides. Help the next wave of Consultants ramp faster because of what you've built.
- Mentor others: Pay it forward. Be the Consultant that newer team members want to shadow.
Competencies – What We are Looking For
- Project driver: You keep engagements moving. You manage timelines, hold stakeholders accountable (internally and on the customer side), flag risks early, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks. You don't wait to be told what to do next.
- Customer-facing communicator: You're comfortable leading meetings, presenting findings, and communicating project status to customers at multiple levels — from data stewards to business stakeholders. You're clear, confident, and responsive.
- Technically curious: You don't need to be a developer, but you are comfortable in technical conversations. You can work alongside data engineers, understand integration patterns, and navigate cloud-based data platforms without getting lost.
- Problem solver: You approach ambiguous situations with curiosity rather than anxiety. When a customer's environment doesn't match the textbook, you adapt, explore, and find a path forward.
- Continuous learner: The MDM space and Profisee's platform are always evolving. You embrace that. You seek out new knowledge, pursue certifications, and apply what you learn immediately.
- Get Stuff Done / Accountable: It bothers you when things stall. You plan the work, work the plan, and communicate progress proactively. You can point to specific projects where you took ownership and delivered — even when it was hard.
- Kind, helpful, and collaborative: Customers and teammates genuinely enjoy working with you. You're generous with your knowledge, direct with your feedback, and you make every engagement better because you're on it.
Skills you need:
- Experience in consulting, data management, business analysis, or a related client-facing role.
- Familiarity with Azure cloud platforms and cloud-based data services (hands-on experience is a plus; comfort navigating these environments is a must).
- Working knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs — you understand integration concepts and can have informed conversations with technical teams.
- Exposure to ERP or CRM platforms such as SAP or Microsoft Dynamics 365 — you understand how enterprise systems interact with master data.
- Strong project management instincts — experience managing workstreams, timelines, and customer communication in a structured delivery environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills — you write clearly, present confidently, and adapt your message to your audience.
- Experience with or genuine interest in MDM, data governance, or data quality disciplines.
Reporting Relationship & Location
- The Consultant will report directly to one of our Managing Consultants.
- This is a fully remote position. We welcome candidates across the U.S.
- Some travel to customer sites may be required in the future, up to 25%.
