Now Hiring: HR & Payroll Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced HR & Payroll Coordinator to support two skilled nursing facilities: Monarch Springs Wellness & Rehabilitation and Pine Grove Manor Skilled Nursing.

This is a hands-on Human Resources and Payroll role ideal for someone who enjoys balancing employee-focused HR responsibilities with accurate payroll processing in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

‍ HR Responsibilities

  • Lead recruiting and hiring for both facilities
  • Manage new hire onboarding and orientation
  • Support employee relations, coaching, and performance management
  • Maintain personnel files, licensure, and compliance records
  • Assist with HR compliance, audits, and unemployment claims
  • Serve as a key point of contact for employees across both locations

Payroll Responsibilities

  • Process semi-monthly payroll accurately and on time
  • Manage timekeeping, edits, and payroll reporting
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and wage/hour laws
  • Maintain payroll records, audits, and employee data updates

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years of HR and/or payroll experience
  • Healthcare or skilled nursing experience preferred
  • Knowledge of employment law, payroll processes, and compliance
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
  • Proficiency in Excel and HR/payroll systems
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Must be local to the St. Louis, MO area
