The Basics

Location: Statesville, NC

Compensation: $20.25/hr and up

Days/Hours: This job will be 1st shift, 7:30am-3:30pm, M-F with some overtime, including weekends.

What you’ll be doing:

The Truck & Trailer Wash position is a critical member of the production team, being responsible for cleaning and sanitating bulk flour trailers and associated equipment. Duties include but are not limited to spotting and securing the trailer, preparing trailer for washing according to established procedures, washing, inspecting and drying bulk trailer tanks, lines and equipment, disposing of trash and performing other tasks and duties as requested.  All work must be performed safely according to established procedures.

 

Requirements to be successful in this position:

  • Experience hooking, driving and backing semi tractor trailers (CDL is NOT required)
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Reliable transportation
  • For safety reasons, must be able to read, write, understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions in English
  • Available to work overtime and weekends
  • Professional demeanor (safety conscious, quality of job performance, cleanliness, and verbal communications)
  • Able to pass a criminal background check

  • This job can be physically strenuous
  • You will be expected to be able to work in tight and confined spaces
  • You will work at heights
  • You will need the ability to frequently lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds and occasionally more
  • This job will require the ability to ascend/descend ladders
