SUMMARY:
Maintain and repair of electronic equipment, including slot machines and video equipment, by performing mechanical and electronic repairs quickly and efficiently.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS, DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain and repair electronic slot machines, video equipment, and other electronic/mechanical equipment.
- Troubleshoot, replace/install parts and keep accurate repair and maintenance logs.
- Perform repair functions in a manner that is efficient and provides maximum customer service.
- Follow Casino policy and procedure for equipment operations and repair.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Six months of related work experience in a technical field and/or experience in electronic repair and associated tools. Knowledge of computers (hardware and software).
- Ability to exercise initiative, sound judgment, logic and problem solving skills.
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with coworkers and the public.
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
- Ability to work on a flexible shift schedule.
- Knowledge of electronic repair procedures, proper use of tools and associated test equipment.
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or GED (required)
LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen, background investigation, and maintain a Pauma Gaming Commission License.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: (*Constantly, Frequently, Occasionally)
- Ability to lift 60 pounds.
- Constantly walking and standing.
- Constant hearing, seeing and talking.
- Constantly balancing, bending, reaching, twisting, holding, wrist motion, and stooping.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment
- Close spaces while working with others
- Excessive noise and smoke
