Summary: The Assembler position is responsible for the assembly of the small valves. The assembler is also responsible for keeping up with the production standards and keeping their work area clean.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the correct assembly of the small valves.
- Able to follow standard methods and operating procedures already in place.
- Can operate and efficiently use various air tools.
- Test small valves to ensure that company quality standards are being met.
- Use correct stamp and assemble nameplate along with the unit number.
- Follow and obey all safety rules while wearing required safety equipment.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must be able to use air tools to test valves.
- Must possess the ability to assemble valves accurately and in a timely manner.
- General knowledge of the valves being assembled.
- Must be able to operate a forklift when needed.
- Ability to change jobs when asked to by the supervisor.

- Ability to develop general knowledge of the products we manufacture.
- Ability to use precision instruments, air tools, and read blueprints.
- Ability to communicate effectively between multiple department supervisors.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in a machine operator or set up position within a manufacturing setting.
- High attention to detail and escalate errors to management when needed.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- The ability to do frequent twisting and bending at the waist.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds occasionally.
