Description

We are currently seeking a full-time Assistant Program Directors for our Residential Programs. This position is responsible for supporting the Director in the day-to-day operations of the Residence, including implementing Agency policy and practice and ensuring compliance with the statutory requirements of the DDS.


40 hours per week, days may vary depending on location. Some on-call requirements.



  • Implements policies, practices and procedures of the Residential Program. This position protects the rights, freedoms and confidentiality and supervises the medical, nutritional health and general welfare of individuals living within the program. Some on-call coverage is required.

  • Assumes overall responsibility of house and resident funds and limits access to funds by other staff.

  • Overall supervision of the medical health, nutritional standards, educational and general welfare of the residents. Participates in the development of the Individual Service Plan and its periodic review, in collaboration with other participants.

  • Participates in the screening and selection of all individuals being considered for admission to the program, in conjunction with the managers and Program Coordinator, as well soliciting, screening, and interviewing candidates for staff openings at the program.

  • Develops and maintains staffing schedules as per master schedule. Assumes responsibility for scheduling relief and/or covering vacant positions as they occur.

Qualifications



  • High school diploma required with 2 years experience supporting individuals with Developmental Disabilities. Bachelor’s degree in Human Services Field preferred.

  • Must have valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record and reliable transportation

  • Acceptable CORI report (criminal record assessment) and suitable fingerprint results.
