Position Summary
This role is responsible for inspection and rework activities at various customer sites.
The Quality Inspector role is a valuable position at Q2 Management. Inspectors are key to the success of our company and our clients.
Inspectors work in a team with direction from their Shift Leader to evaluate and inspect parts to reach inspection targets.
Safety, our first Quality Key, is our top priority to participate and foster a safe and inclusive work environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Take Ownership of the quality inspection process, ensuring that all necessary inspections are performed promptly and accurately in compliance with Q2 quality standards and specifications
- Ask questions to Empower yourself to understand tasks clearly
- Arrive for each shift on time and with appropriate PPE
- Monitor the effectiveness of quality control measures and make recommendations for process improvement
- Demonstrate Care through quality service and thorough inspections
- Handle automotive components and products with utmost care to prevent damage or contamination during inspections
- Provide Honest and constructive feedback about your experience in your role to promote our commitment to continuous improvement
- Maintain accurate and detailed inspection records, documenting any defects or non-conformities found during inspections
- Communicate inspection results honestly and transparently to relevant leaders and managers
Minimum Qualifications
- Safety shoes and safety glasses are required
- Ability to stand for 8-12 hours in an automotive manufacturing environment
- Strong desire for quality work and attention to detail is require
- Inspectors may accept or decline shifts as needed with proper notice given

- The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and conduct repetitive movements throughout the duration of the shift.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
- This role requires the use of safety equipment including, but not limited to, eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, gloves, and hardhats.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- The work environment is not temperature controlled.
