Duties and Responsibilities

To successfully perform the requirements of this position, it is preferred that someone have one year of related experience on a Press Brake, be motivated and extremely quality minded. The right candidate will possess good organizational skills and be able to work independently. If you do not have the skill, or experience but have solid work ethic and are motivated, we are willing to train you!

• Our Brake Operators produce parts which meet customer specifications by setting up the press brake machine which includes deciding which brake dies to use, reading and interpreting blueprints/technical drawings and bending to specifications
• Utilize correct materials on each job by verifying materials prior to beginning production
• Conduct Quality Control to ensure parts are fabricated correctly by performing the first piece check and submitting it to Quality Assurance for inspection prior to running the entire job
• Efficient and timely processing of various job orders by organizing work to be performed according to complexity, materials used, anticipated completion time, etc.
• Safe and efficient press brake operation
