Job Description

 


POSITION:    CERTIFIED SUBSTITUTE


 


LOCATION:  ELLENSBURG SCHOOL DISTRICT


 


QUALIFICATIONS:



  1. Valid Washington State Teaching Certificate

  2. An OSPI successful background check through the FBI and WSP within the past two years.

  3. Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with students.

  4. Ability to work cooperatively with District and school staff as well as students.

  5. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

  6. Ability to follow lesson plans and instructional materials devised by the classroom teacher.

COMPENSATION:   $180/Full Day


                          $90/Half Day


 


***For appliants that do not have a Washington State teaching certificate but posess a BS/BA four-year degree, Emergency Substitue Certificates are availble. 


 


COMPENSATION:   $160/Full Day


                          $80/Half Day


 


 


**Substitutes working 21 or more consecutive days in the same assignment will be paid at a per diem rate (based on salary schedule placement) beginning on the 21st day.
